At A.Nicole Designs, we understand the importance of properly caring for your purchased items to ensure their longevity and quality. Whether you have purchased our acrylic tumblers with vinyl, t-shirts and totebags with HTV vinyl or DTF transfers, or items using UVDTF decals, following these care instructions will help you maintain their appearance and functionality.

Acrylic Tumblers with Vinyl

Our acrylic tumblers are not only stylish but also durable. They are decorated using "permanent" outside vinyl. To keep them looking their best, we recommend the following care instructions:

• Hand wash only: Avoid using a dishwasher as the high heat and harsh detergents can damage the vinyl design.
• Gentle cleaning: Use a soft sponge or cloth with mild soap and water to clean the tumbler. Avoid abrasive materials or scrubbing vigorously.
• Avoid extreme temperatures: Do not expose the tumbler to extreme heat or cold, as it may affect the adhesive properties of the vinyl.
• Avoid soaking: Do not soak the tumbler for extended periods, as it may cause the vinyl to peel or warp.
• Above all, DO NOT INTENTIONALLY PEEL. If you peel, they will come off. 

T-Shirts Designed with HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl)

To ensure your custom HTV-designed t-shirt lasts for as long as possible, follow these care instructions:

• Wash Inside Out: Turn your t-shirt inside out before washing to protect the HTV design from direct friction and damage.
• Wash in Cold Water: Use cold water to wash your t-shirt, as hot water can weaken the adhesive and cause the HTV design to peel or fade.
• Gentle Cycle: Wash your t-shirt on a gentle or delicate cycle to minimize wear on the fabric and design.
• Avoid Fabric Softener: Do not use fabric softener, as it can cause the HTV to lose its adhesive strength over time.

• Do Not Bleach: Avoid using bleach, as it can damage both the fabric and the HTV design.
• Drying:
  • Air Dry-For the best longevity of your HTV design, air dry your t-shirt by hanging it or laying it flat.
  • Tumble Dry (if necessary)-If you choose to use a dryer, tumble dry on a low heat setting. High heat can damage the HTV design. Avoid using the dryer for the first few washes, if possible.
• Ironing: If you need to iron your t-shirt, always iron on the **reverse side** of the fabric (the inside), and avoid ironing directly over the HTV design.
  • Place a thin cloth or parchment paper over the design if you must iron it. Use a low heat setting without steam.
• Storage: Store your t-shirt in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to prevent the HTV from fading.

By following these simple care steps, you can keep your HTV-designed t-shirts looking fresh and vibrant for a long time!

T-Shirts with DTF Transfers

Our t-shirts with DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are designed to provide vibrant and long-lasting prints. To keep your t-shirts looking their best, please follow these care instructions:

• Machine wash cold: Turn the t-shirt inside out and wash it on a gentle cycle with cold water.
• Avoid bleach: Do not use bleach or any harsh chemicals, as they can damage the DTF transfer.
• Tumble dry low: To prevent any potential damage to the transfer, tumble dry the t-shirt on a low heat setting or air dry it.
• Avoid ironing directly on the transfer: If ironing is necessary, turn the t-shirt inside out and iron it on a low heat setting. Avoid direct contact between the iron and the transfer.

Items with UVDTF Decals

Our items with UVDTF (UV Direct-to-Film) decals are designed to withstand various conditions. To ensure the longevity of the decals, please follow these care instructions:

• Gentle cleaning: Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water to clean the item. Avoid abrasive materials or scrubbing vigorously.
• Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use any harsh chemicals or solvents on the decals, as they may cause fading or damage.
• Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the decals to fade over time. Store the item in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Above all, DO NOT INTENTIONALLY PEEL. If you peel, they will come off.
